Meet Smokey Bear and His Forest Friends
September 20, 2014
Begins at 10:30 am
Does your child like animals? Come meet a local wildlife rehabilitator and her rescued wildlife friends. Learn how fire can destroy animals’ habitats and threaten their lives and how you can help keep them safe. Smokey the Bear and his Forest Ranger pal will be on hand to greet kids and pose for pictures with children. Kids can also make Smokey the Bear crafts and learn why, as Smokey says, "Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires!” It’s going to be a "wild” morning at the Museum, so don’t miss it!
