Hours and Admission-FASNY Museum of Firefighting

The FASNY Museum of Firefighting is open 10am until 5pm, daily.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON HOURS: Due to a major
movement of apparatus within the Museum galleries, the Museum will be closed from May 20, 2013 to May 24, 2013. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Note:  We are closed on Thanksgiving, New Year’s Day, Christmas, Easter, Memorial Day and Independence Day.
The Museum is also closed in the event of severe weather.

Museum Admission
The Museum accepts cash, checks and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard and Discover) as payment for admission to the Museum and for gift shop purchases.

Adults: $5

Children 5 years of age and older: $2

Family Rate (2 Adults and 2 Children): $10

Children 4 years of age and under: FREE

Museum and FASNY Members: FREE

Empire State Reciprocal Program and NARM Members: Free

Large Groups (10 or more): We require large groups to schedule their guided or unguided tour in advance. Please use the contact form on this website or call the Museum to schedule your large group. The Museum reserves the right to refuse entrance to any large group that has not scheduled their visit in advance.

Admission to the Museum's gift shop only is also free. Come shop with us and discover a huge selection of firematic items including giftware, tshirts, toys and much, much more!

Please note: The Museum often has pre-scheduled programs that necessitate the temporary closing of one or more galleries at any given time. If this is a concern for you or your group, please call ahead (1-877-347-3687) to determine the Museum's programming for that day.
