Super Saturdays





Join us for these fun, family friendly programs and learn all about fire safety and prevention. Admission to the FASNY Museum of Firefighting and the Super Saturday programs is

on the special program days listed below for the residents of Columbia, County* and Museum Members!

 

Story Hour with Firefighter Shaun                

Show Time 10:30 am            August 11, 2018                   

Come listen to Firefighter Shaun read the exciting story, "Firehouse.” After the story is finished, help Firefighter Shaun complete the giant puzzle, putting all the pieces in the right order, based on the story. Then make your very own puzzle with Firefighter Shaun that you can take home with you. You will be happy to be "puzzled” when you are having fun with Firefighter Shaun! For children ages 2-8.

 

Meet Smokey Bear and his forest friends!

September 15, 2018       Show Time: 10:30 am

Come meet live forest animals and learn how fire destroys their habitats and threatens their lives. Smokey Bear will greet and pose for pictures with children. A Forest Ranger will also visit and show kids cool equipment used to fight fires. You can make a Smokey Bear craft and learn why "Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires.” It’s going to be "wild” morning at the Museum, so don’t miss it!
