-Abracadabra: It's Melvin the Magnificent!
June 3, 2017                   Show Time 10:30am

Spend a magical morning at the Museum with Melvin the Magnificent. Melvin will perform an interactive magic show that is sure to amaze you! Kids will learn all about fire safety, as Melvin the Magnificent astounds them with his magic. After the show, kids can make their own magical wands to take home with them, so they too can be a magnificent magician! You never know what Melvin has in store, but there are sure to be lots of surprises from Melvin’s bag of tricks, so don’t miss all the fun!


-Water Wars: Who Will "Rain” Supreme!
  July 15, 2017         Show Time: 10:30 am

Come spend the morning with the firefighters of the South Schodack FD and learn to operate a real fire hose! Can you fill the big barrel with water the fastest? Younger children will have the opportunity to use equipment more suited to their size: wildfire packs that squirt water! Get ready to learn how to "put the wet stuff on the red stuff” at the Museum!



-Puzzle Me a Story! with Firefighter Jerry  
  August 12, 2017      Show Time: 10:30 am

Come listen to Firefighter Jerry read the exciting story, "Firehouse.” After the story is finished, help Firefighter Jerry complete the giant puzzle, putting all the pieces in the right order, based on the story. Then make your very own puzzle with Firefighter Jerry that you can take home with you. You will be happy to be "puzzled” when you are having fun with Firefighter Jerry! For children ages 3-8.















*Proof of residency is required (driver's license) for head of household
Museum members enjoy free admission to the Museum and programs every day
The regular admission rate paid by non-residents of Columbia County include all programs offered for that day (no additional charges)
