Pictures with Santa on His Fire Truck

December 7th, 2019                 Event Time: 10:30 am

Join Santa as he ushers in the holiday season at the Museum! Children can tell Santa their holiday wishes, while they have their picture taken with him on a fire truck. Then take the Museum’s scavenger hunt challenge: locate all the magical winter scenes on the fire trucks and complete your scavenger hunt booklet. All children will receive a prize just for trying. Join us for a morning of holiday fun! 

 

Weird Science with Professor Sparks

January 18th, 2020                 Event Time: 10:30 am

He’s BACK!!! Come spend the morning exploring the science of fire! Professor Sparks and his robot companion, Spot 2000, will present an interactive program that is full of surprises! After the program make your own "slime” to take home. Only Professor Sparks can make learning about science this much fun! This hands-on program is appropriate for children ages five and up. 

 

Firefighter Shaun and Firestar Show

February 15th, 2020                 Event Time: 10:30 am

Meet Firefighter Shaun and his friend Firestar the Dalmatian, as they present an interactive show on fire safety that will have the whole family excited about fire prevention. After the show, meet and greet Firestar, and pose for a picture with this crazy canine. All children will have the opportunity to make a fun fire safety craft with Firefighter Shaun and Firestar. It promises to be a "spotacular” morning at the Museum, so don’t miss it!


Princess and Protectors Tea Party

March 14th, 2020                 Event Time: 10:30 am

Join female firefighters for a princess tea party. Enjoy "tea and crumpets” with the firefighters, while learning how these brave ladies became protectors of their communities. Kids will also create a craft and go through the Jr. Firefighter Challenge with these fierce and feminine females. Please note: princes are welcome to join in the fun as well. Reservations are required, don’t wait—limited space is available! Reserve your child's place now by calling: (518)-822-1875 ext. 17.

Museum members enjoy free admission to the Museum and programs every day
